Finished Ph.D. in 2017. The main goals of my research are: 1. Further understand the role of exon 20 in IKAP protein, on the development of the peripheral nervous system (PNS), in order to shed light on its implications on Familial dysautonomia (FD) symptomes. 2. Explore genes regulation by focusing on the interaction of GC content, chromatin structure and alternative splicing. To examine whether splicing pattern depends on the location of the gene and the environment around it, core regions compare to desert. |
