Finished Ph.D. in 2014. Ph.D. objective: my research was aimed at deciphering the role of epigenetic modifications, such as DNA-methylation and nucleosome occupancy, in the recognition of exons through the splicing mechanism. To do that, I analyzed whole-genome deep sequencing data of nucleosome positioning (MNase-seq) and DNA-methylation (BS-seq) from human and mouse, and correlated those with splicing data from RNA-seq experiments. |
